My doe and buck mated in august. No babies. Middle of august, no babies. So we thought she had false pregnancy. No fur pulled. No nest ready. So we left both my buck and doe downstairs with each other. Next thing ya know, around the beginning of November, babies, in the cage, bitten and bruised. It was the buck of course. WHO ELSE!?! One more baby outside of the cage, ALIVE. Then next few days, dead. It fell on it's back when it must have been batted out of the cage. We did not know she gave birth. PROOF THAT THEY GIVE BIRTH LATE. Sometimes.
